Pair of miniature Quimper plates with the Breton/Bretonne motif. Very early plates with the glaze skips typical of the age. Could be used as butter pats, to hold a bonbon or as a pin tray. Lovely also displayed as a grouping. Four inches in diameter. male plate has a restoration. |
